Abstract
BACKGROUND: Even with the wide base of knowledge that has been accumulated regarding coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), only limited studies have tried to establish differences in outcomes of elderly patients hospitalized with COVID-19. We, thus, conducted a retrospective study on a large cohort of hospitalized patients with COVID-19 to improve the understanding of such differences and add to the evidence available regarding this age group.Entities:
