Clinical, laboratory characteristics and OGTT at baseline in 9 β - thalassemia major (β -TM) patients with normal glucose tolerance (NGT; Group A) and in 9 with isolated impaired fasting glucose (IFG; Group B) during OGTT, compared to 9 healthy prepubertal controls.
