Abstract
BACKGROUND: Food frequency questionnaires (FFQ) is an easy and inexpensive tool that can be used to evaluate nutrient and dietary trends of groups and individuals. Few studies in the East Mediterranean region tailored FFQs to describe dietary intakes of older adults. The purpose of the study is therefore to assess the validity and reproducibility of a FFQ, designed for use with older adults living in a Mediterranean Arabic speaking country, Lebanon.Entities:

Agreement is measured by Bland–Altman plots for (A) caloric intake (Calories/day), (B) protein (g/day), (C) fat (g/day) and (D) calcium (mg/day), (E) omega 3 fatty acid (g/day), (F) vitamin B6 (mg/day). (—) lines represent mean difference (FFQ – mean 24HDR) and (− − -) represent lower and upper 95% limits of agreement. The higher and lower extremes represented the mean ± 2 SD
