Abstract
Following intranasal administration of live influenza A virus vaccine or parenteral inoculation of inactivated influenza virus vaccine, immunoglobulin antibody to the influenza virus hemagglutinin was detected in nasal wash specimens from adult volunteers. Several observations supported the suggestion that this immunoglobulin G hemagglutinin nasal wash antibody appeared to be mainly derived from the serum by a process of passive transudation.Entities:
