Abstract
Purpose: To examine the association of serum Ism1, a new adipokine that can regulate glucose uptake, with type 2 diabetes (T2D) in a Chinese population. Considering high prevalence of Nonalcoholic Fatty Liver Disease in patients with type 2 diabetes and the regulating role of Ism1 on glucose uptake of peripheral tissues, we further explored the association between Ism1 and diabetes-associated nonalcoholic fatty liver disease.Entities:
