Abstract
A patient with alcoholic liver disease and ascites who developed fatal spontaneous bacterial peritonitis due to Campylobacter coli is reported herein. This is the first case report of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis due to this organism. Campylobacter infections and their relationship to spontaneous bacterial peritonitis are reviewed.Entities:
