Abstract
Ultrasound is a minimally invasive technique recommended for the evaluation of abdominal pain in young, premenopausal women and pregnant women. Ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cyst torsion, ovarian hemorrhage, myoma degeneration, and pyometra can be detected with point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) in the case of acute abdominal pain. This article describes the utility of POCUS in females with abdominal pain in obstetrics and gynecological diseases.Entities:
