Abstract
BACKGROUND: To study the respective peripheral and systemic mechanisms of action of dexmedetomidine, as adjuvant to regional anesthesia, we compared dexmedetomidine added to ropivacaine for mid-forearm nerve blocks, to either systemic-only dexmedetomidine, and to a control with no dexmedetomidine.Entities:
