A 32-year-old male patient was diagnosed with thoracic vertebral tuberculosis and underwent posterior spinal tuberculosis debridement, bone grafting, fusion, and internal fixation in our hospital (Figure 2). The patient had no osteoporosis and did not take medication regularly one year after surgery. (A/B) A are the preoperative CT scan of the thoracic spine showed bone destruction in the thoracic spine. (C/D) Postoperative CT scan of the thoracic spine showed that the bone graft exhibited good contact with the upper and lower vertebral bodies. (E/F) Plain CT scan of the thoracic spine at the 1-year follow-up. There is a clear boundary between the bone graft and the autologous bone, and the bone graft is not fused.
