Abstract
Hormonal therapy has long been recognized as a mainstay treatment for prostate cancer. New generation imaging agents have provided unprecedented opportunities at all phases along the natural history of prostate cancer. We review the literature on the effect of androgens and androgen deprivation therapy on prostate tumor at its various biological phases using the new generation molecular imaging agents in conjunction with positron emission tomography.Entities:
