Histology of the ovary.

P B Clement.

Abstract

The normal gross and microscopic morphologic features of the ovary are described. Abnormal findings that may be encountered on microscopic examination of the ovary and that may create problems in interpretation are also discussed. The hormonal control and function of the various ovarian compartments are summarized.
