Abstract
Mediastinal paraganglioma presented as a large dumbbell tumor is a rare entity. We report a case of a 47 year old woman who suffered from spinal pain and sporadic lower limb paresis. The imaging studies showed a voluminous mass occupying the posterior mediastinum with right foraminal extension. For excellent results, a combined effort was necessary including thoracic and neurosurgeons teams. Complete resection was successfully performed without laminectomy. The operative course was uneventful.Entities:
