[Subtotal bone resorption following reimplantation of a bone flap. 2 case examples].

This is a report on two cases of an extensive absorption of bone following reimplantation of an osteoplastic flap of the cranial vault. Although it is not yet possible to give a final explanation of the phenomenon, this complication must always be considered as a possible event in this kind of cranial vault implant and the patient should therefore be informed about such an eventuality.
