Abstract
A 55-day-old newborn with an intense otitis haemorrhagica caused by a Calliphoridae larva of the genus Phaenicia is presented. During an ear lavage the larva was removed. The patient was admitted and once the genus was known he underwent a specific treatment and was discharged completely cured.Entities:
