Abstract
Chest X-rays are the most commonly performed pediatric X-ray examinations, accounting for 50% of all films. Therefore, any change in radiological technique is bound to affect many patients. In the study reported here, image quality was visibly and measurably improved and the radiation dose lowered at the same time, by employing the slit technique for chest X-rays first described by Pasche in 1903.Entities:
