Abstract
Verrucous carcinomas (Ackerman tumors) are rare. The tumor is slow growing, locally invasive and is not supposed to metastasize. It is therefore thought to be unnecessary to perform a neck dissection. Two patients with local metastazing verrucous carcinomas (oral cavity and larynx) are presented. The possibilities of therapy are discussed with reference to the two cases presented and according to the literature.Entities:
