Abstract
The gravity of this syndrome of severe diabetic stupor without ketosis may not be recognized because patients are usually middle-aged or elderly with mild diabetes. A lack of urgency in treating these patients is probably the cause of the widely reported mortality of 40 to 70 per cent.Entities:
