Abstract
Malignancy-associated hypercalcemia is a common and important clinical problem. Two major pathogenic mechanisms appear to be operative in this disorder: local osteolytic hypercalcemia and humoral hypercalcemia of malignancy. The clinical and biochemical features that distinguish these two processes are reviewed.Entities:
