Abstract

Although the properties of temperature are utilized routinely in the practice of cardiac surgery, it is a humble effort to share the experience of a young trainee who witnessed and eventually harnessed this physical quantity's power in a challenging cardiopulmonary bypass wean off. © Indian Association of Cardiovascular-Thoracic Surgeons 2022.
