Abstract
We report a case of a single kidney patient with an isolated renal hilum mass which is accompanied by severe vascular involvement. A 56-year-old woman with right flank pain was referred to our center. Ultrasound and CT scan showed a hypoechoic and solid mass in the right kidney pedicle. The renal mass biopsy showed a clear cell carcinoma. The patient was scheduled for surgery and the isolated mass was removed. To the best of our knowledge, this is the first case of renal hilum mass of Renal Cell Carcinoma (RCC) origin that had no connection to kidney parenchyma.Entities:
