Abstract
Peer review continues to be a crucial part of the scientific publishing process. Many editors have reported difficulty recruiting potential reviewers and receiving timely recommendations. Poor reviewer acceptance and completion rates can complicate and delay publication. However, few studies have examined these rates in detail.
