Abstract
Biopsy specimens removed from the oral cavity are often small, and there is high potential for causing artefacts at several stages: during removal, fixation, embedding, or staining. This report describes several of the most common artefacts created by erroneous handling of oral tissue and lists recommendations for preventing them.Mesh:
