Abstract
Tuberculosis is one of the most common infections worldwide. It has been associated with some hematologic disorders; however, pure red cell aplasia or autoimmune hemolytic anemia is rarely reported. We describe the case of a 68-year-old woman with pulmonary tuberculosis accompanied by pure red cell aplasia and autoimmune hemolytic anemia. These hematologic disorders were improved by treatment of pulmonary tuberculosis. This case suggests that physicians should consider the possibility of tuberculosis as a cause of pure red cell aplasia.Entities:
