Abstract
This invited commentary provides a conceptual history of modern early intervention services, briefly reviews the accomplishments of an international clinical and research community, and offers proposals for how such services might participate in the next generation of progress. In keeping with the theme of this column, we make the argument that such services should orient around bi-directional knowledge translation across basic, clinical and policy domains.Entities:
