Abstract
Necrotizing fasciitis (NF), soft tissue infections, are rare but rapidly progressive and life-threatening infections with high morbidity and mortality rates. Early detection and intervention by physicians are paramount in mortality prevention. We present a case report of a 77-year-old female who presented with extensive NF due to a Clostridium septicum infection.Entities:
