Dear Editor, we would like to share ideas on the publications regarding “Multi inflammatory syndrome in a 16-year-old male following first dose of m-RNA COVID-19 vaccination (Hugh McGann et al., 2022).” Hugh McGann et al. concluded that “We report a 16-year-old male with a multi system inflammatory condition meeting the case definition for MIS following …..evidence of primary infection with SARS-Cov-2. (Hugh McGann et al., 2022).” We agree that there might be a clinical problem following COVID-19 vaccination. In the present case, the multi - inflammatory syndrome might or might not be associated with vaccination. There was an attempt to rule out the other concurrent medical problem that might induce the syndrome. However, there are still some other possible problems. For example, a vaccine recipient might have dengue which is a common cause of multiple inflammatory syndrome (Kebayoon and Wiwanitkit, 2021, Somasetia et al., 2020). Additionally, it is usually difficult to rule out the asymptomatic COVID-19, which might occur pre- or post-vaccination in a COVID-19 vaccine recipient who present abnormal clinical problem.
