Abstract
Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs) are neoplasms with neuroendocrine characteristics such as secretion of neuropeptides, large secretory vesicles, and a lack of neural structures. Neuroendocrine carcinoma (NEC) of the esophagus is a very rare malignancy. We present the case of a 58-year-old male with a pure large cell NEC of the esophagus.Entities:
