Abstract
The value of real time ultrasonography (RTUS) in the management of first trimester elective pregnancy terminations was studied in 120 consecutive patients. RTUS was found essential in determining accurate gestational ages, identifying incomplete pregnancy terminations, diagnosing abnormal pregnancies, and in performing difficult terminations. It is suggested that RTUS be employed in the routine management of first trimester pregnancy terminations.Entities:
