Abstract
Whipple's disease is a rare chronic infection caused by the actinomycete Tropheryma whipplei. Patients commonly present with gastrointestinal symptoms. We present a case of classic Whipple's disease complicated by a probable Jarisch-Herxheimer reaction following the initiation of ceftriaxone treatment.Entities:
