After administration, the blood pressure of rats in distilled water group continued to increase with the age of weeks. Comparing the changes of urinary creatinine and urinary micro protein in distilled water group before and after gavage, the diastolic and systolic blood pressure decreased after gavage in the irbesartan group and amlodipine besylate group. There were no significant changes in diastolic and systolic blood pressure between the irbesartan group and the amlodipine besylate group. The levels of urinary creatinine and urinary microalbumin collected by SHR before administration were significantly higher than those of WKY rats, which was consistent with the condition of hypertensive renal damage. Comparing the changes of urinary creatinine and urinary micro protein in distilled water group before and after gavage, amlodipine besylate group and irbesartan group decreased.
