Abstract
BACKGROUND: With rising unemployment rates brought on by coronavirus disease 2019 pandemic, the rates of underinsured and uninsured consumers are likely to rise. Health information intermediaries play a critical role in assisting consumers with navigating the complexities of the United States health care system and the ever-changing health care policy landscape. Not much is known about the health insurance literacy (HIL) levels of information intermediaries and their ability to assist consumers with making informed decisions about their health insurance.Entities:
