Below listed 3 articles[123] that were published in Saudi Journal of Anesthesia from 2014-2018 are being retracted because high rate of data fabrication & falsification has been observed along with inappropriate authorship. All these articles have the same corresponding author, who has committed scientific misconduct by fabricating data of other published articles.

Plagiarism, fabrication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of Saudi Journal of Anaesthesia, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.

This article has been retracted on request of the Editor-in-Chief and Editorial board of the journal.
