Abstract
Benzoic acid combined with a detergent was used to safely and effectively decontaminate dentures colonized with Candida albicans. Surface decontamination was accomplished by soaking the dentures in the germicide solution for a period of 6 hours to overnight. Decontamination may occur in as little as 10 minutes when soaking is combined with ultrasonic enhancement.Entities:
