Abstract

Bacterial keratitis and endophthalmitis are serious disorders which can result in partial or total loss of vision. The epidemiology, common aetiopathogens, clinical features, diagnostic techniques and management are reviewed with an emphasis on laboratory diagnosis and antimicrobial therapy.
