Abstract
Introduction: Vitamin D deficiency is one of the common disorders prevalent among both developed and developing countries. Irritable Bowel Syndrome has been linked to many diseases and conditions, one of them being Vitamin D deficiency. To the best of our knowledge, no study of vitamin D deficiency status has been done yet in Nepalese setup. This study aims to find out the prevalence of low levels of Vitamin D in patients with Irritable Bowel Syndrome attending the outpatient department of a tertiary care hospital.Entities:
