Abstract
Despite a wide range of study designs, a multiplicity of international trials of diclofenac in osteoarthritis have disclosed similar results. These include double-blind comparisons with indomethacin, aspirin, naproxen, ibuprofen, sulindac, and diflunisal, as well as open trials from European field studies. The results of this review document that diclofenac is as effective as other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs in the treatment of osteoarthritis.Entities:
