BACKGROUND: Total knee arthroplasty (TKA) in patients with a prior contralateral above-knee amputation (AKA) is uncommon, with limited literature describing the outcomes. We used a national database to compare the outcomes of primary TKA in above-knee amputees and nonamputees.Entities:
