Abstract
BACKGROUND: Influenza vaccination, as a key element of control activities intended to prevent nosocomial influenza transmission, is recommended each year for all healthcare workers (HCWs). The objectives were to determine the rate of influenza vaccination and to identify reasons for receiving or declining the influenza vaccine among HCWs in the 2018/19 and 2019/20 influenza seasons.Entities:

PHCS—primary health-care settings, VCR—vaccination coverage rate. * p-value for Pearson’s χ2 tests of association. a Values are presented as n (%). b Physiotherapists, laboratory diagnosticians. c Administrative, cleaning and supporting staff. d The Pearson’s χ2 test was calculated only for a group of physicians and nurses due to the small number of other categories.
Motivators for, and barriers to seasonal influenza vaccination in the survey participants (reported for at least one influenza season).
