The review article titled “Evaluation of osseintegration between traditional and modified hydrophilic titanium dental implants – Systematic analysis” published in National Journal of Maxillofacial Surgery, on pages 176-181, Volume 11, Issue 2, 2020 [1] , is being retracted because of high rate of verbatim similarity from another article titled “Hydrophilic titanium dental implants- a systematic review”, that was rejected for publication in Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society. Plagiarism, fabrication, duplication, unethical or redundant publication violates the editorial policy of National Journal of Maxillofacial Surgery, which follows best practice guidelines given by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) mentioned on the Information for Authors and as codified in the signed statements made by the authors regarding the copyright of their work.
