Abstract
Delayed hemolysis is an uncommon reaction to intravenous artesunate for the treatment of severe malaria. We report a case of a patient who developed severe malaria after initial improper treatment, thus requiring IV artesunate therapy. Delayed hemolytic anemia then occurred and was monitored for weeks after completion of treatment.Entities:
