Abstract
BACKGROUND: The prescription pickup and renewal process in ambulatory care settings requires numerous steps, such as making an appointment with a physician to renew prescriptions and direct pharmacy visits to pick up medications. This process can be difficult or cumbersome for some patients; however, digital health-associated patient portals can reduce the burden on both patients and healthcare professionals.Entities:

Descriptive statistics of medication renewal and pickup through MyChart and refill pickup by pharmacy visit. The mean and standard deviations were calculated monthly using 24 months of the total study period.
