Abstract
Biomaterials composed of calcium phosphate ceramics are receiving increasing attention as potential bone graft substitutes. These substances have proved to be the most biocompatible hard-tissue implant materials discovered. The mechanical and biologic properties of the calcium phosphates, as well as their present and future applications, are discussed.Entities:
