Figure 3.The original image was cut to include calcium and lumen. A Gaussian filter was used to filter the cropped image and k-mean clustering was used to extract the calcification values. Then, the cut image is multiplied from the original and the resulting image is the image without the blooming artifact. Equation (3) was used to reduce noise in the image using a Gaussian filter.
