Abstract
OBJECTIVE: Integrated surveillance of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and antimicrobial use (AMU) across One Health sectors is critically important for effective, evidence-based policy, stewardship, and control of AMR. Our objective was to evaluate progress towards achieving comprehensive, integrated AMR/AMU surveillance in Canada.Entities:

Evaluation matrix for national, integrated antimicrobial resistance and antimicrobial use surveillance program component-elements in Canada. The common program elements for evaluation are in the left column and the rankings for stages of program development are in the first row. The definitions are summarized for each criteria-ranking combination, with full explanation available in Haworth-Brockman et al. (2021). Criteria are adapted from Parathon et al. (2017) and rankings are taken from Schell et al. (2013)
