Abstract
In this longitudinal study of 25 successfully treated depressed patients, rapid eye movement (REM) latency during an episode of depression was evaluated as a predictor of recurrence. Patients with reduced REM latency prior to treatment were more likely to develop another episode of depression during the follow-up period.Entities:
