In the article entitled “Transgender surgery - Knowledge gap among physicians impacting patient care” published in Current Urology 2021;15(1):68–70 (doi: 10.1097/CU9.0000000000000002), the following Statement of Ethics was omitted: “This study was approved by the Surgery Department at Harlem Hospital on September 6, 2019, for the use of de-identified patient information. The participant in this study provided written informed consent for the participation and publication. All procedures performed in this study involving human participants were in accordance with the ethical standards of the institutional and/or national research committee and with the 1964 Helsinki declaration and its later amendments or comparable ethical standards.” We apologize for this error and any inconvenience this may have caused.
