Abstract
PURPOSE: Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE) in combination with stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) is a promising therapy for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). A radiopaque drug-eluting embolic bead used during TACE, called LC Bead LUMI (Boston Scientific), was developed to allow improved visualization during TACE. The purpose of this case series is to assess the visibility of LUMI after TACE and discuss its potential use as an alignment tool for SBRT.Entities:
