Long-term followup computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings in hepatolenticular degeneration: case report and summary of the literature.

W S Metzer1, E Angtuaco.

Abstract

Pretreatment and long-term followup computed tomography (CT) findings were reported in a patient with successfully treated Wilson's disease. Results of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are correlated with followup CT findings, with MRI being more specifically sensitive than CT. The literature of CT and MRI findings in Wilson's disease is reviewed and summarized.
