Rupture of the extensor pollicis longus tendon after fracture of the distal end of the radius. A report of the youngest case.

Late rupture of the extensor pollicis longus tendon is an occasional complication following a fracture of the distal end of the radius. Previous reports have been exclusively in middle aged or elderly patients. The present case is unique in that it affected a 14 year old girl.
