Abstract
INTRODUCTION: Despite declines in cigarette smoking in the US, electronic cigarette (e-cigarette) use has increased among middle and high school students. In 2014, New York City (NYC) implemented Tobacco 21 (T21) to prohibit sales to anyone under age 21. Our study goal was to measure the effectiveness of T21 on e-cigarette use.Entities:

aEstimate should be interpreted with caution. Estimate's relative standard error (a measure of estimate precision) is greater than 30% or the sample size is less than 50, making the estimate potentially unreliable.
Data are suppressed due to imprecise and unreliable estimates.
Confidence intervals (CIs) are a measure of estimate precision: the wider the CI, the more imprecise the estimate.
